Bankruptcy ensued, staved off by Juan39s aristocratic relative, Don Pedro Domecq Lembeye. His descendant Don Alvaro has started afresh in an artisanal way, buying Jerez39 historic Pilar Aranda cellar. Alvaro now makes our Oloroso dark amber nectar with luscious, raisiny depths and spicy fruitcake richness.
