1998 Chateau Patache dAux Medoc

Good tannic structure, with ripe delicate tannins. Notes of smoke and leather. Long and fruity with a balanced oaky finish. This is a Claret of classic proportions albeit from a modest vintage. Now showing well it is perfect fare for the evening dinner table. Decant or open an hour in advance and set it alongside lamb or pork dishes for best effect.
