Modern Classic Mix Case of 12

Pouilly Fume comes from the small but nevertheless prestigious appellation from vineyards situated around the village of Pouilly sur Loire on the opposite side of the river Loire to Sancerre. Like Sancerre, Pouilly is made with 100% Sauvignon grapes. This example is made by Marc Vappereau of the boutique negociant Foucher Lebrun, who specialise in selecting specific high quality plots in these iconic regions to make classic dry whites. A combination of clay and chalk soil, old vines and traditional winemaking , results in this high quality French Sauvignon.
