Casa Rivas Chile 12 bottle mixed case

Casa Rivas Chile 12 bottle mixed case

Carmenere was introduced in the 19th Century to Chilean vineyards from Bordeaux. The problematic variety thrived in the Chilean climate and over time became mistaken for Merlot. Only in 1994 was it discovered that the secret to Chilean Merlot was a good slug of Carmenere. Casa Rivas produce some of the best Carmenere in Chile with the Gran Reserva 2008 winning a Regional Trophy at Decanter Wine Awards in 2010. Discover the differences between Carmenere, Merlot and Cabernet in this mixed Case from Casa Rivas.
