Bellingham wine maker Niel Groenewald located an exceptional pocket of old, low yielding Chenin Blanc bush vines. Excited by the intense, even ripening and rich quality of the fruit, he vinified a limited volume of lightly wooded, lavish and full bodied wine with a well rounded, seamless mouthfeel. The result was so good that Niel felt the wine deserved its own unique identity and created quotThe Bernard Seriesquot concept.
