Autumnal Mix Case of 12

The cool climate of lush Piedmont in north west Italy is perfect for the production of crisp, fragrant white wines made from the local Cortese variety. The grape is most readily associated with the famous commune of Gavi but elsewhere in the region it is used to produce excellent value wines such as this. The Cortese grape is known for its relatively low alcohol levels, making this a charming alternative to the more powerful New World styles often seen today. This delicious white was made for us at Araldica by the experienced Claudio Manera, who took over the job from his father Livio in the early 1980s.
