A star of London39s 2004 Wines of Chile tasting, it39s a joint effort from Mariano Salas who owns vineyards in Maipo39s cool, dry Maria Pinto Valley and Margaux trained biodynamic winemaker Alvaro Espinoza. Carmenegravere is a Bordeaux fugitive, so amenable to Alvaro39s skills. Judicious oak ageing has brought its finer points to the fore. Sauvignon.
