Now into their fourth generation as winemakers, Rioja39s Vargas family have wrought exponential success. Having amassed substantial vineyards and built a state of the art winery, they39ve hired Bordeaux39s famous Michel Rolland to improve quality even further. Production is limited to Reserva styles unfiltered aged in new oak for over a year from pure Tempranillo. There39s rich complexity of flavour here cedarwood, cinnamon, cranberries, sloes and game.
