Impeccably organic, an impressive alliance of lush, cassis rich Cabernet and gamey, generous Syrah. Domaine Richeaume lies at the foot of Provence39s Sainte Victoire mountain. The winery itself was built on the vestiges of a Roman Villa by organic vigneron Henning Hoesch. All viticulture at the estate is biodynamic, to the extent that a flock of sheep has been installed to provide fertiliser. Henning produces powerful wines, deserving, as he says, quot5 to 6 years of patiencequot.
