2002 Chateau Grand Puy Lacoste Pauillac 5me cru classe

Elegant, well integrated oak tones with mature, cedary black fruit character. This was a lighter, more forward drinking vintage than the preceding or following vintages, and shows off Bordeaux at its simple best. The vineyards cover 55 hectares in Pauillac across the all important gravel croupes that occur here. 75% Cabernet, with Merlot and Cabernet Franc. This is classified as Fifth Growth. Drink 2010 2015.
